TL;DR

People Operations Specialist (HR): Delivering world-class employee experience by managing the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and inquiries, with an accent on HR documentation, HRIS accuracy, and labor law compliance. Focus on problem-solving, process improvement, and supporting visa and relocation processes in Singapore and other APAC regions.

Location: Hybrid, based in Singapore. Supports HR operations across the APJ region.

What you will do

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and processes.
  • Manage and resolve HR queries through multiple channels and maintain HR documents aligned with local regulations.
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee transfers.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure smooth operational workflows.
  • Monitor compliance with local, regional, and global labor laws.
  • Support visa, employment pass, and relocation processes in Singapore.
  • Accurately input, maintain, and update employee data in Workday.
  • Develop, implement, and drive improvements in HR processes and programs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law, work passes, and visa processes.
  • Experience working in shared services or centralized People Operations environments.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Familiarity with HR systems like Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee guides.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting HR operations in additional APAC regions, particularly Japan and Australia.
