Web Experience Design Intern

TL;DR

Web Experience Design Intern (Web Design): Collaborating with the Web Design team and cross-functional partners to support initiatives across hirify.global.com and XRPL.org while evolving design system foundations, component library, and web documentation. Focus on creating consistent, high-quality designs, maintaining and expanding the web design system, and contributing to wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

Location: In-office collaboration for moments that matter is important to our culture, and managers and teams have the flexibility to decide which 10+ days a month they come in.

Salary: $28—$32.50 USD annual base salary range for positions based in CA.

What you will do

• Complete design tasks across hirify.global.com and XRPL.org under mentorship from senior team members.
• Apply existing web guidelines, systems, and components to create consistent, high-quality designs.
• Assist in maintaining and expanding the web design system, including components, tokens, and documentation.
• Contribute to wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that support new features and enhancements.
• Help create and update responsive, accessible web pages within established workflows.
• Participate in design reviews and respond to feedback constructively.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate, or Graduate degree preferably in a Web Design, Digital Design, or related field.
• Available to work for 12 weeks during Summer 2026, beginning in May or June.
• Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship.
• A portfolio showcasing strong foundational design skills visual design, typography, layout, interaction, and web work.
• Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with responsive build principles and basic accessibility guidelines.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in design system building, contributing to large web projects, or working with multi-team collaboration is a plus.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus.
