What you will do

• Build, update, and maintain websites (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, or similar platforms).
• Ensure websites are SEO-friendly in structure, speed, and performance.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, internal linking, content optimization).
• Collaborate with SEO and content teams to align development with search strategy.
• Conduct basic technical SEO checks (indexing, crawlability, broken links, redirects).

Requirements

• 5-7 years of combined experience in website development and SEO.
• Strong experience with website builders/CMS (WordPress preferred).
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and technical SEO.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website performance optimization.
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).
• Local SEO experience, especially working with location-based or service-area businesses.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of schema markup and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with site migrations or redesigns.
• Understanding of AI, LLMs, and modern search concepts such as AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO.
