Location: Hybrid work environment, with remote work considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office. Offices in Livingston, NJ / New York, NY / San Francisco, CA / Sunnyvale, CA / Bellevue, WA. Must be authorized to work in the US due to U.S. Government export regulations.

Salary: $188,000–$275,000

What you will do

• Own the Launch and Sweeps product roadmap, defining how AI researchers discover optimal hyperparameters and scale training/eval jobs.
• Collaborate with customers and deep learning practitioners to understand pain points in job orchestration, distributed training, and LLM evaluation.
• Drive execution across cross-functional teams including engineering, design, infrastructure, and go-to-market.
• Prioritize across performance, reliability, scalability, and developer velocity to deliver value to customers.
• Elevate the developer experience by streamlining workflows for creating Launch jobs and configuring sweep strategies.
• Communicate effectively to keep multiple stakeholders, engineering teams, and customers aligned.

Requirements

• 7+ years as a product manager working on developer tools, deep learning infrastructure, or ML engineer platforms.
• Experience taking a technical product end-to-end to production, including defining success criteria and iterating.
• Technical fluency in Kubernetes, SLURM, job scheduling, hyperparameter optimization algorithms, and API design.
• Skilled at managing and influencing AI engineers, software engineers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to channel feedback into a single, executable stream, bringing clarity and organization to complex environments.
• Strong opinions about products and a high bar for developer experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX), distributed training, or LLM development workflows.
• Hands-on experience with SLURM or Kubernetes for GPU-intensive workloads.
• Prior exposure to Weights & Biases or other experiment-tracking and model management platforms.
• Understanding of hyperparameter optimization methods and evaluation workflows for large models.
