Solutions Engineer (Edtech)

TL;DR

Solutions Engineer (Edtech): Supporting prospective clients and educators by understanding their unique needs and proposing hirify.global products and services to meet those needs with an accent on expertise in learning technology and the hirify.global platform. Focus on presenting product demonstrations to a variety of audiences and creating technical documentation for prospects.

Location: Willing to work various hours across North America from PST to EST.

Salary: $70,000—$90,000 CAD

What you will do

• Become a hands-on expert in the Brightspace platform and support the sales process by becoming an expert in hirify.global products and services.
• Prepare and present persuasive and expertly tailored product demonstrations before a wide variety of audiences.
• Build compelling, value-oriented presentations and conduct needs analysis sessions with prospects.
• Provide feedback to product management teams regarding use cases and trends in the field.
• Create technical documentation and materials as required for prospects.
• Attend sales presentations, meetings, and conferences as required (travel 25-50%).

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience as a Brightspace user either as an administrator or an instructor having used the platform extensively.
• Experience in a higher education institution in an edtech role will be advantageous.
• Comfort with other learning management systems and other learning platforms that might integrate with the LMS.
• Have a deep interest in education and educational technology including familiarity with technology ecosystem and the LMS.
• Must be very comfortable with presenting complex education and technology concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
• Must have excellent writing and comprehension skills and be able to work remotely in a professional manner.
