Strategic Program Manager (Contingent Workforce): Designing and running global systems, processes, and strategies for hirify.global’s contingent workforce with an accent on compliance, scalability, and manager/worker experience. Location: This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. If hired, you will be required to attend in person onboarding.
Salary: $149,000 - $260,000 USD

What you will do
- Build and own hirify.global’s global contingent workforce strategy, creating frameworks, rituals, and ways of working.
- Partner across the company to make onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing support smoother for contingent workers and managers.
- Craft and maintain guidelines, policies, and resources that bring clarity to a complex space.
- Collaborate closely with Legal, People Ops, Finance, and Security to reduce friction, manage risk, and ensure future-readiness.
- Develop metrics and dashboards that help teams understand program health, spend, and opportunities to level up.
- Evaluate and partner with external vendors, MSPs, and technologies for a scalable and effective contingent workforce experience.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building or running contingent workforce programs in fast-growing or complex organizations.
- Deep knowledge of worker classification, global compliance, and contingent workforce best practices.
- A track record of leading large, cross-functional programs with senior partners across People, Legal, Finance, and more.
- Experience building scalable processes, governance models, and operational systems from the ground up.
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills, using data to inform decisions, spark conversation, and drive alignment.
- Must be based in one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience building or partnering with MSP models and/or modern VMS tools.
- Background in organizational design, workforce planning, or consulting.
- Experience scaling programs across multiple regions and navigating global regulations.
- A systems mindset and a passion for designing programs that blend structure, empathy, and great user experience.
