What you will do

• Design and implement Micro Service Architecture JEE software applications.
• Participate in system architecture design, systems engineering, development, integration testing, and validation.
• Use modern software engineering tools including Eclipse, Gitlab, and Atlassian Suites for development, documentation, and testing.
• Present solutions at formal and informal design reviews, documenting designs according to system lifecycle methodology.
• Participate in daily scrums and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 to 10 years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience with Java & Java Frameworks (design and development of large-scale software systems), including Spring Boot, Hibernate, JMS, XML, JSON, SQL, JDBC, and Unix/Linux.
• Experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems on AWS, including Cloud Migration, scalable web applications, and object-oriented analysis/design techniques.
• Experience developing front-end using Angular and React, alongside HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security).
• Must be able to obtain security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with architecting, designing, or developing a biometric search system.
• Developing 100% automated unit tests using SOAP-UI, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools (Git, Gradle/Maven).
• Agile Scrum experience, potentially leading a Scrum team.
• Experience with biographic/document text matching using frameworks like Lucene/Solr, ElasticSearch, Sphinx.
• Proficiency in DynamoDB, MongoDB, Python, JQuery, or NodeJS.
