Fullstack Engineer (Web3): Building and optimizing a retail-friendly DeFi wallet and next-generation Web3 products with an accent on secure self-custody solutions, scalable services, and elegant interfaces. Focus on tackling complex solution-level challenges across backend systems and frontend experiences, translating bold product ideas into technical solutions, and developing clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions in a reactive fashion.

Location: Hybrid role based in Vienna, Austria, with optional remote work for 25 days per year from any city or country.

What you will do

• Build an intuitive and secure DeFi wallet, simplifying Web3 experiences and making self-custody accessible.
• Work on next-generation Web3 products, solving complex challenges across backend and frontend systems.
• Translate product ideas into scalable services, elegant interfaces, and full-stack deliveries that redefine financial services.
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions in a reactive fashion across the stack.
• Contribute to a motivated team of highly skilled developers with your experience across the stack.

Requirements

• Expertise in either backend services or reactive frontend development, with an ability to operate full-stack.
• Familiarity with smart contract development, hosting cryptonodes, Viem/Ethers.js, RPCs, or third-party blockchain data providers.
• Experience with Nest.js, API design, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Prisma, RxJS, and/or Angular/Ionic.
• Eagerness to dive deeper into the Web3 domain, blockchains (EVM & non-EVM), smart contracts, transactions, and account abstraction.
• Proactive contributor who fosters collaboration and shares knowledge to support teammates across cross-functional teams.
• Must be eligible to work in Austria and participate in a hybrid work model in Vienna.
