Platform Engineering Manager

TL;DR

Platform Engineering Manager (Cloud): Building and leading a high-performing team to provide a secure, reliable, and easy-to-use platform for building, testing, deploying, and monitoring the VDC product with an accent on modern IAC, automation, CI/CD, and observability tools. Focus on promoting operational excellence, reliability and security while partnering with engineering, product, security, and SRE teams.

Location: Office Based. Remote job is only possible in case the employee is located in Poland.

What you will do

• Define and communicate the vision and strategy for the team.
• Build and mentor a motivated and cohesive team, fostering an inclusive and diverse environment.
• Guide the design, implementation, and operation of cloud-native platform systems.
• Promote operational excellence, reliability, and security.
• Encourage the adoption of modern IAC, automation, CI/CD, and observability tools.
• Partner with engineering, product, security, and SRE teams to ensure platform alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams in Platform, DevOps, or SRE domains.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer.
• Experience building and operating high-scale cloud-native applications.
• Experience promoting a culture of Operational excellence with SaaS products.
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure.
• Experience automating infrastructure through code using technologies such as Pulumi or Terraform.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and other modern CI/CD tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure.
