What you will do

Lead, influence, and contribute across R&D to drive business value for %hirify_global% and restaurant customers.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders to drive strategic direction for %hirify_global%’s AI-enabled products.
Work closely with leaders from Data Science, ML Engineering, and Platform teams to help shape and execute the vision of %hirify_global%'s ML Platform.
Break down larger ML initiatives into smaller problems that enable data science to deliver incremental business value.
Coach and mentor data scientists and ML engineers for career growth.
Help build out and expand %hirify_global%’s AI product portfolio.

Requirements

Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent disciplines with 5+ years of experience leading Data Science & ML Engineering teams.
Prior success deploying machine learning solutions in large-scale production environments.
Strong knowledge of underlying mathematical foundations of statistics and machine learning.
Demonstrated excellence in a relevant AI/ML discipline (CV, NLP), including experience with ML model building with libraries such as Scikit, Tensorflow and PyTorch.
Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals (algorithm families, AB testing, hypothesis testing, optimization).
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and product stakeholders to evaluate new Machine Learning opportunities.
Strong communication skills, able to present findings to senior management.
