What you will do

• Lead, influence, and contribute across R&D to drive business value for hirify.global and restaurant customers.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders to drive strategic direction for hirify.global’s AI-enabled products.
• Work closely with leaders from Data Science, ML Engineering, and Platform teams to help shape and execute the vision of hirify.global's ML Platform.
• Break down larger ML initiatives into smaller problems that enable data science to deliver incremental business value.
• Coach and mentor data scientists and ML engineers for career growth.
• Help build out and expand hirify.global’s AI product portfolio.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent disciplines with 5+ years of experience leading Data Science & ML Engineering teams.
• Prior success deploying machine learning solutions in large-scale production environments.
• Strong knowledge of underlying mathematical foundations of statistics and machine learning.
• Demonstrated excellence in a relevant AI/ML discipline (CV, NLP), including experience with ML model building with libraries such as Scikit, Tensorflow and PyTorch.
• Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals (algorithm families, AB testing, hypothesis testing, optimization).
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and product stakeholders to evaluate new Machine Learning opportunities.
• Strong communication skills, able to present findings to senior management.
