What you will do

• Review, optimize, and tune data ingestion and extraction pipelines orchestrated by Airflow.
• Develop frameworks for managing a large number of pipelines across the entire domain.
• Build architecture, data flow, and operational diagrams and documents with detailed layers.
• Provide reference implementations for composing data pipelines and integrating Airflow with third-party solutions.
• Keep up with the latest Astro and Airflow features to advise on impactful improvements.
• Collaborate to build reusable assets, automation tools, and documented best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Data Architect experience with Airflow / Astronomer, including production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience in designing and implementing ETL, Data Warehousing, and ML/AI use cases.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud-native data architecture, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in financial services, investment banking, or related domains.
• Certifications related to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
