What you will do
- Deliver timely, high-quality work, perform insightful pull-request reviews, and build reusable code.
- Participate in and/or lead architectural decisions, identify improvement opportunities, and drive innovation.
- Interact with product teams and stakeholders to impact the business.
- Ensure successful deliveries and promote the long-term technical health of systems.
- Take ownership of critical features, track engineering and product KPIs, and ensure high code quality standards.
- Mentor less experienced developers and spread development best practices such as code review, pair programming, and TDD.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in designing and developing modern web applications.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (Golang, Java, Kotlin) with Golang being a plus.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Experience dealing with event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SNS.
- Experience with microservices and high-volume distributed systems, and Cloud-based architectures in AWS.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.
