What you will do
- Lead the design and build of services and features for the customer service tech stack transformation.
- Collaborate with Staff Engineers, Product, and Salesforce experts.
- Balance quality and speed on company priorities.
- Mentor developing engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional development experience, with a focus on backend technologies (Go, Ruby on Rails, Java, or similar).
- Experience integrating with common customer service software and tools, including but not limited to Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, or HubSpot.
- Demonstrated success designing and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL).
- Working knowledge of relational SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Quality mindset including automated testing, clean code, code reviews, and CI/CD basics.
- Practical experience using feature flags, telemetry, and safe rollout techniques.
- Track record of collaborating with Product and Design.
- Must have US work authorization; visa sponsorship is not provided.
