Location: This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work onsite from our San Francisco or NYC hub location three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and travel 2–3 times per year.

Salary: $205,000–$272,727 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing data science team focused on marketplace quality and search experiences.
• Define success metrics and analytical standards for improving therapist ranking and matching systems.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Machine Learning teams to influence roadmap decisions and drive improvements in match quality.
• Guide analysis and modeling efforts, providing hands-on review and technical leadership.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to ensure data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a quantitative role within fast-paced consumer technology environments, including experience leading data science teams.
• Strong background in applied machine learning and experimentation in ranking, relevance, personalization, or matching problems.
• Fluent in SQL and Python, with the ability to set technical direction and perform complex analyses.
• Proven track record of partnering with Product and Engineering to influence strategy and execution through data and communication.
• Motivated by improving access to mental health care and energized by owning ambiguous, high-impact problems.
