Salary: $142,000–$190,000 USD (OTE Range)

What you will do
- Lead pre-sales technical discussions to understand customer use cases and identify the value of dbt Cloud.
- Consult with potential customers to uncover data challenges and demonstrate dbt Cloud solutions.
- Deliver tailored demos of dbt Cloud and provide expert technical guidance.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and provide strategic input throughout the deal process.
- Maintain ongoing technical relationships with key stakeholders in your accounts.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and act as the voice of the customer for product feedback.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a data practitioner or consultant in data operations or analytics.
- Strong technical foundation in modern data warehousing architectures and the modern data stack.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- High degree of comfort presenting to diverse stakeholders or audiences.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Work from Austin, Texas with 2 days per week in office required.
- Willingness to travel to events as needed.
Nice to have
- Prior dbt experience or dbt certification.
- Basic Python competency and advanced SQL knowledge.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales tech role.
- Experience with traditional ETL tooling.
