Location: Hybrid in Sydney, Australia, or other APAC locations with an expectation for local hirify.globalns to be in the office a minimum of twice per week.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to understand and solve the right problems.
• Balance speed, quality, and consistency in design outputs.
• Advocate for customers by deeply understanding their needs.
• Concept, prototype, design, and present solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Coach and mentor fellow designers and provide thoughtful feedback in critiques.
• Conduct user research interviews, usability testing, and analysis, leveraging metrics to drive design decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product design.
• A track record of successfully shipping products and solving customer problems that move company metrics.
• Proficient in user research methodologies and able to translate findings into actionable design insights.
• Expert in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Miro).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Excellent understanding of interaction design principles, usability, visual, and accessibility.
• A keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile product development environment.
• Experience with Design Systems.

Nice to have

• Experience designing products for the professional services sector, including legal or accounting.
