What you will do

• Manage data pipelines, audit, rationalize, and safely deprecate redundant ad-hoc pipelines.
• Expand comprehensive test suites (schema, logic, freshness) to guarantee downstream reliability and catch issues proactively.
• Build alerting systems for automated daily health reports, reducing manual oversight.
• Consolidate business metrics into shared, documented dbt models for consistency across dashboards and tools.
• Design versioned, stakeholder-aligned data models that support product revamps and enable cross-team reuse without breaking changes.
• Manage ML models and advanced statistical models as prioritized in future initiatives.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of dbt, orchestration (Dagster/Airflow), Python, and data warehousing (BigQuery and Redshift).
• Proven track record of 3-5 years in data quality frameworks and metrics governance projects.
• Strong collaboration with team members to translate needs into robust solutions while working together.
• Master's degree in engineering.
• Prior experience in development, with a focus on data-driven products.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile environment and confidently communicate ideas and needs to team members.
