What you will do

• Maintain and extend existing Python, SQL, and VBA applications and automations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and business tools.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to improve efficiency.
• Refactor legacy code into maintainable Python services.
• Support migration of data and processes to cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Write clean, well-documented, and tested code following best practices.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable working independently in a fully remote, international environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Practical knowledge of VBA in Excel for automation and debugging.
• Experience maintaining and improving existing systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or modern data tools like Airflow, dbt, Spark.
• Exposure to financial or operational data.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and GitHub.
