What you will do

• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments from global regulators including CFTC, SEC, ESMA, UK FCA, Canadian, Australian, and Singaporean authorities.
• Conduct impact assessments of regulatory changes on derivatives trading, operations, and technology.
• Translate regulatory mandates into detailed business requirements and user stories for technology teams.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the software lifecycle and participate in user acceptance testing.
• Produce clear intelligence reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Perform data-driven analysis using Excel and SQL to support regulatory impact modeling.

Requirements

• Must be located in UK or EU region with ability to work fully remote.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in institutional financial services, preferably sell-side investment banking and post-trade processing.
• Strong knowledge of global derivatives trade reporting regulations (Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID II/MiFIR, etc.).
• Experience writing business requirements and collaborating with software developers.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including Microsoft Excel and SQL.

Nice to have

• Experience with Airtable, Databricks, and Jira.
• Background in regulatory intelligence, change management, or compliance advisory with technology focus.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
