Android Engineer

What you will do

• Shape and co-own the codebase within a cross-functional product-engineering team.
• Drive turning user needs into end-to-end solutions, from product discovery to supporting code in production.
• Design and develop mobile apps, contributing significantly to the overall product system design.
• Collaborate effectively with product, design, data, and other functions.
• Implement impactful ideas and have a high degree of ownership, affecting millions of users.

Requirements

• Proven impact in building new and/or refactoring existing large-scale customer-facing Android products.
• Strong product & business mindset, with proven ability to drive successful product building by collaborating with Product Managers and Designers.
• Great understanding of object-oriented, functional, and declarative paradigms, design patterns, and architectures such as MVVM/MVI, DI.
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and composable, modular UI architectures in general.
• Strong experience with Android Jetpack (e.g., Arch components, Compose, Navigation, Room, Hilt, WorkManager) and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Experience with Rest API, Retrofit, and implementing methodologies like eXtreme Programming, Trunk Based Development, CI/CD, BDD, TDD.
• English: C1+ (Great command required)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of animation libraries like MotionLayout, Lottie, Jetpack Compose animations.
• Experience with backend development, data, or multimedia.
