What you will do

• Build a roadmap and drive priorities for the team based on a mid- to long-term vision.
• Manage, mentor, and lead a globally distributed team of 8 engineers, providing feedback and building cohesion.
• Advocate for and represent the team within the organization.
• Actively participate in Engineering Productivity and Infrastructure management cohorts.
• Participate in major incident on-call rotation as Incident Commander.
• Identify and implement processes that improve team productivity and software quality.

Requirements

• Experience leading diverse teams of software engineers as a line manager.
• Experience leading engineering projects that cross engineering teams.
• Experience as a hands-on software engineer with strength in computer science fundamentals.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Superb organizational, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical vision, operational rigor, and cross-team collaboration.
