Salary: $156,000–$229,000 USD + bonus + equity + benefits.

What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of SFT and RL training data for AI Safety and manage a portfolio of AGI Safety & Alignment research.
- Analyze technical details, losses, and evaluations for Safety to ensure accurate problem measurement.
- Drive organizational efficiency by improving processes and implementing tooling.
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers for research and engineering teams.
- Coordinate alignment across diverse Gemini groups, including Release teams and Model Behavior.
- Manage executive reviews and influence outcomes across stakeholders without direct authority.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale complex programs, preferably across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Fluency in English (C1 equivalent) and flexibility to work across time zones.
- Demonstrated success in fast-paced program execution and deliveries.
- Good understanding of large language models, multi-turn conversations, or model behavior and other alignment-related topics in machine learning.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated management experience.
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of ML/AI principles and distinctions from traditional software development.
