What you will do

• Lead design work across problem framing, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI.
• Translate product strategy and business goals into user experiences and visual designs, aligning with intent and success criteria.
• Collaborate directly with Front End developers and engineers to ensure design feasibility, strong handoff, and implementation fidelity.
• Design and ship experiences across multiple platforms, including responsive websites and native mobile apps.
• Contribute to established design systems by extending component libraries, patterns, documentation, and usage guidance.
• Present work to clients, including rationale, tradeoffs, and recommendations, incorporating feedback without losing clarity.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada (Greater Toronto Area is preferred).
• 6 to 8+ years of experience in product design, UX, UI, or digital product design, ideally in a professional services or agency environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX and UI design, including interaction design, visual design, and shipped work.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, prototyping, and working within design systems.
• Experience collaborating closely with Front End developers and engineers, including clear specs, handoff artifacts, and implementation support.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, including presenting work, explaining rationale, and navigating feedback and tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for sports-related products or experiences.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve workflow efficiency.
