Staff Product Manager, Payments (Fintech)

Salary: $248,000 to $279,000+ equity + benefits

What you will do

• Guide the product philosophy, vision, and roadmap for payments architecture and integrations.
• Lead cross-functional execution with engineering, data science, design, marketing, and partnerships teams.
• Partner with risk, legal, policy, safety, and accounting teams to ensure the system is secure and compliant.
• Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences.
• Evolve the in-app ecosystem for all monetizable products to ensure a coherent and delightful experience.
• Empathize and relate to users, especially those who are the most active on hirify.global.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience shipping great software and building durable monetization infrastructure.
• Experience building and maintaining wallets, payment UX flows, payment tokenization, and purchasing/billing infrastructure.
• Experience partnering with processors/PSPs on consumer subscription businesses and consumer-based ecommerce businesses.
• Experience with Apple and Google mobile app store integrations and limitations.
• Strong analytical ability to quickly organize and leverage data to make informed product decisions.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers.

Nice to have

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical experience.
• Domain experience in payments, fintech, commerce, billing, or consumer subscriptions.
• Experience building and growing consumer social and/or online communication products.
• Experience working across or in multiple payment processors/PSPs in different regions of the world.
• Experience with high-fraud payment environments, include risk analysis and interventions
