Senior Operations Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Operations Analyst (Fintech): Facilitating client payments and working closely with other departments to ensure business efficiency with an accent on initial verification of client payments and ensuring compliance with internal processes and SLAs. Focus on conducting post-payment investigations, following up with Liquidity Providers and Partner Banks until full resolution.

Location: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home in Sydney CBD Office

What you will do

• Reconcile client funds and outbound payments received and sent across hirify.global’s network of bank accounts, across all back office systems, in accordance with internal processes.
• Instruct and verify client payments, in accordance with internal processes and in line with internal SLAs.
• Conduct post-payment investigations, following up with hirify.global’s Liquidity Providers and Partner Banks until full resolution.
• Help clients to resolve questions or issues regarding their transactions and payments via email, phone, and chat.
• Communicate the status of tasks to colleagues, supervisors, and managers, and escalate problems swiftly, as needed.
• Contribute constructive feedback on processes, with the aim of improving efficiency, service, and/or risk.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of low and high-value payment clearing schemes in different jurisdictions.
• Advanced knowledge of SWIFT in a cross-border payments context, including MT103, MT101, and MT202 message types.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Client-oriented and service-driven.
• Highly organised, with the ability to work to deadlines, multi-task, and prioritise workload.
• Understanding of fraud risks present in a payments environment.
