TL;DR

Account Director (Commercial Sales): Driving revenue retention and new business acquisition within the Mid Market segment with an accent on subscription renewals, expansion opportunities, and strategic account planning. Focus on consultative selling, pipeline execution, and building executive-level relationships to achieve quarterly and annual targets.

Location: Based in New York City, New York, with required travel for key customer meetings, events, or strategic engagements.

Salary: $212,000 - $265,000 OTE (50/50 split)

What you will do

  • Develop a deep understanding of hirify.global’s product offerings, go-to-market strategy, and best practices for pricing and deal closure.
  • Analyze customer accounts, contracts, and usage data to craft timely renewal and expansion proposals.
  • Manage and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely updates.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual targets for bookings, renewals, and expansions.
  • Lead strategic account planning sessions to identify growth opportunities and align with customer goals.
  • Handle the entire sales cycle from opportunity creation to purchase order processing and deal closure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an Account Executive or related sales role involving direct customer engagement and relationship management.
  • Proven experience managing Mid Market accounts with the ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills, including expertise in structuring and closing multi-year agreements.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored for executive audiences.
  • Successful track record in technology sales within a subscription-based business model, consistently achieving targets.
  • Excellence in sales pipeline management and CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.com & Clari.
