What you will do

• Implement and maintain new systems in Unreal Engine for scalable and performant distributed rigid body and networked physics simulations.
• Maintain the existing physics engine and ensure seamless integration with Unreal Engine.
• Work directly with simulation teams to enable large-scale simulations.
• Stay up to date on current techniques, research, graphics data, and hardware.
• Be a vision holder for the future of multi-solver, networked physics simulation in Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with game and project teams to create engaging content through simulation.

Requirements

• Strong C++ knowledge and excellent math skills.
• Strong grasp of game networking principles.
• 5+ years of professional experience demonstrating interest in games.
• Experience shipping multiplayer or massively multiplayer, networked games.
• Experience developing and optimizing performance-critical networked systems and working in large codebases.
• Experience with dynamic gameplay systems (character interactions, physics simulation).
