Location: Hybrid role requiring in-office collaboration three days per week in Palo Alto, CA, Dallas, TX, or Los Angeles, CA

Salary: $170,000–$185,000 a year

What you will do

• Improve trust in our data by championing for data quality across the organization
• Influence and help build the next generation Analytics Platform at hirify.global
• Improve the resiliency and performance of our existing platform
• Empower colleagues by building and supporting self-serve tools for data exploration and analysis
• Collaborate and build strong partnerships with Product, AI/ML, Data Science, Marketing, Finance
• Mentor junior members of the team

Requirements

• Significant industry experience in data engineering and software development with strong knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling
• Expertise in large-scale distributed data processing platforms (e.g., Databricks or Apache Spark)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization
• Strong coding skills in Python (preferably 3.x) for data analysis and backend services
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Dagster

Nice to have

• Experience with Mode, Tableau or other Data Visualization Tools
• Experience with Scala
• Experience with Kafka/MSK
