Focus on identifying opportunities on when, where and which AI/ML techniques can deliver impactful business outcomes and partnering with multiple engineering teams to build and enhance Candid’s infrastructure to better support AI development.

Location: On-site in New York City, Menlo Park, or San Francisco

Salary: $165,000 to $220,000 USD

What you will do

• Identify and drive opportunities on when, where and which AI/ML techniques can deliver impactful business outcomes.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to automate and scale products and workflows with the most technical complexity.
• Partner with multiple engineering teams to build and enhance Candid’s infrastructure to better support AI development.
• Establish rigorous processes for model training, testing, and monitoring.
• Apply industry best practices and leverage state-of-the-art technologies and tools to design systems.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or other similar degree.
• 5+ years of experience building software of significant scale and complexity.
• 2+ years of AI engineering experience in a professional setting, preferably applying it to real world solutions.
• Experience building systems that leverage ML technologies (e.g. built or used specific NLP models).
• Understanding of the pros, cons, and tradeoffs of leveraging various AI solutions.
• Clear and concise communicator.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Metabase, Terraform, Python.
