Focus on improving CI/CD, hardware utilization, and developing new features for production environments.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) with remote options after the first year.

What you will do

• Apply modern C++ (C++20) concepts and architecture for scalability and extensibility.
• Maintain and extend communication standards between products and various retail POS solutions.
• Optimize hardware utilization on different platforms.
• Improve CI and deployment pipelines.
• Enhance tests, test coverage, and static code checks.
• Help prototype and develop new features and products.

Requirements

• In-depth experience in C++ modern coding concepts, threading, and memory management.
• Solid baseline in Computer Vision/image processing or efficient ML inference.
• Good understanding of CMake or comparable build tools.
• Familiarity with professional software development tools & concepts (git, Agile development, containerization, CI/CD).
• Comfortable in a hybrid setup (3 days office / 2 days remote).
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes/Docker/Containerization.
• ML inference engines like PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT.
• Conan or similar package managers.
• C++ unit testing / TDD.
• Python based prototyping.
• Networking protocols like HTTP, MQTT.
