TL;DR

AI/ML Engineer (AI): Implementing and fine-tuning AI models for new product features and automations with an accent on building tools for LLMs/VLMs and rapid R&D from prototype to production. Focus on enhancing AI capabilities, monitoring model performance, and guiding internal teams on custom datasets.

Location: Remote. Must be based in Bulgaria, Ukraine, Egypt, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, UAE, or Romania.

What you will do

• Implement new AI features in products.
• Build tools and frameworks augmenting LLM/VLM capabilities.
• Build AI automations and AI agents.
• Fine-tune and maintain AI models using the HuggingFace toolkit.
• Monitor model performance and guide internal teams on building custom datasets.
• Rapidly build and test AI-driven concepts, moving from proof of concept to production.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background, especially in Python.
• Experience (2–5 years) in AI/ML space, with at least 2 years with language models.
• Experience in parameter-efficient fine-tuning.
• Knowledge and familiarity with tools in the AI ecosystem (ML frameworks, HuggingFace, MLOps, Guardrails, AI Agents).
• Understanding of the theory behind neural networks and Transformer architecture.
• Track record of going from idea to prototype to production in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Rust experience.
• Experience with other modalities (vision, audio).
• Previous experience in an R&D department.
