What you will do
- Take ownership of large-scale projects, from expanding our e-commerce offerings to optimizing the performance and resiliency of our complex backend systems that power integrations like Shopify.
- Be a driving force behind our most critical initiatives and shape the future of our integration platform.
- Design and code high-impact, foundational features.
- Contribute to the team's technical and product strategy.
- Lead by example, mentoring other engineers and ensuring the work of the team is maximally effective.
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Proven track record of tackling ambiguous and complex problems, delivering high-quality solutions with minimal oversight.
- Professional experience in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, SQL, and NoSQL databases, distributed systems, API design/monitoring/best practices.
- Professional experience building software at scale and experience with agile processes.
- A passion for customer experience.
