What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 data developers.
- Plan team goals and lead Agile scrum meetings.
- Develop data pipelines for large-scale data analysis and ingestion.
- Identify, scope, and own technical solutions for project execution.
- Create technical project plans and drive project execution with product and development teams.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and business leaders.
Requirements
- 1+ years of previous team leadership experience.
- 5+ years of programming and Data Science experience, including 1+ year with Python.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud computing tools (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience writing scalable, production-grade applications and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Efficient problem-solving and debugging skills for software and data.
- Proven ability to analyze data and apply statistical techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical collaboration and documentation.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with batch and streaming pipelines.
- Experience with message buses (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, AWS Neptune, Neo4j), ElasticSearch.
- Exposure to ML approaches, including productizing ML models.
