What you will do

• Develop high-quality software in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Participate in all project lifecycle phases including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Own roadmap epics and break down functional requirements into technical tasks.
• Build scalable, resilient applications using optimal cloud technologies and frameworks.
• Design technical solutions for complex problems at scale.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the Netherlands or able to work remotely within the country.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Python.
• Strong fundamentals in computer science including OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with cloud providers, infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed systems.
• Comfortable with written and verbal English communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Azure, DeltaLake ecosystem.
• Knowledge of geographic information systems, MLOps platforms, Spark, and Scala.
