TL;DR
Credit Risk Administrator (Fintech): Supporting the onboarding and ongoing account management of merchants within the ClearAccept regulated portfolio with an accent on credit risk administration, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting. Focus on ensuring efficient onboarding, accurate data maintenance, and appropriate escalation of risk issues.
Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the London office

What you will do
- Support the setup of new merchant accounts in line with onboarding processes, including amendments and add-ons.
- Coordinate the collection and review of merchant documentation, resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage the Risk Mailbox, responding to queries and escalating issues.
- Maintain merchant trackers, decision logs, pending applications, and reports.
- Assist in identifying trends in credit risk, fraud, or monitoring alerts, escalating findings where required.
- Maintain process and procedure documentation to support day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in an administrative or operations role (payments, fintech, financial services, or regulated environment desirable).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage data and documentation.
- Confident communicator with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of customer due diligence (CDD) and onboarding processes.
- Comfortable working with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Organised, methodical, and able to work independently.
Nice to have
- Exposure to payments, acquiring, fintech, or risk/compliance environments.
- Experience working with Jira or ticketing systems.
- Interest in developing a career within Credit Risk, Compliance, or Financial Operations.
- Experience collaborating with product, technology, or development teams.
