What you will do
- Define and communicate the card reader platform strategy and multi-year roadmap tied to business outcomes.
- Drive delivery across multiple teams from discovery to launch, owning planning, execution, and trade-offs.
- Lead EMV L2/L3 and scheme certifications and market launches, coordinating with labs, processors, and OEMs.
- Ensure quality end-to-end experiences, including telemetry, OTA/TMS/MDM, and firmware pipelines.
- Manage vendors and partners, including SLAs, joint roadmaps, and commercial negotiations.
- Mentor and coach new and experienced Product Managers and partner Engineering Managers.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years in product management, with 5+ years leading in-person payments, POS terminals, or device platform products at scale.
- Experience shipping and operating software/hardware in a transactional SaaS environment with strong reliability and compliance requirements.
- Deep working knowledge of terminals and payments, including EMV (contact + contactless/NFC), PIN, CDCVM, tokenization, and ISO 8583.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major terminal stack (e.g., Ingenico, Verifone, PAX) or Tap to Pay on iOS/Android.
- Awareness of PCI/P2PE/SRED, key management, device provisioning/remote management, and basics of TMS/MDM.
- Proven ability to influence at executive and cross-functional levels; excellent writing and verbal communication.

- Experience in the Payment Acquiring/Processing space.
- International rollout/certification experience.
