What you will do

• Ensure DB availability and proactively manage security standards and controls.
• Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring, and execute data migration jobs.
• Assist infrastructure teams with hardware sizing and collaborate with product developers.

Requirements

• 6-8 years’ experience in managing and supporting Oracle database.
• Experience in DB design, modeling, normalization, capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, backup, and recovery.
• Operating system experience in Linux and Oracle management tools such as Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump, and Partitioning.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hands-on experience with DB standards and translating capacity requirements into infrastructure deployment technology.
