What you will do

• Build and maintain automated test suites using Cypress for web UI testing.
• Create and execute API tests using Postman/Newman for backend services and payment integrations.
• Perform exploratory testing on new features and critical payment flows to identify edge cases.
• Execute and maintain automated regression test suites to ensure existing functionality stability.
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps for timely resolution.
• Collaborate closely with agile team members in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress for UI automation.
• Experience with Postman for API testing and basic automation.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and bug lifecycle.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies and working in sprint-based environments.

Nice to have

• Experience testing payment systems, financial applications, or PCI-compliant environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Xray).
• Understanding of mobile testing concepts.
