What you will do

• Research and evaluate new tools, optimize existing tests for speed and reliability, and share knowledge.
• Design and build robust, reusable test tools and infrastructure for core platform test automation setups.
• Work closely with software engineers and product managers to identify risks, define testability, and deliver creative testing solutions.
• Conduct test plan reviews with engineers across teams for new products and implement minimal tests as examples.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3+ years as a Software Engineer in Test, SDET, or similar role.
• 1+ years of software development experience (not just scripting).
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress, 2+ years minimum.
• Strong proficiency in the development of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building internal testing tools and setups.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Background in platform/enablement teams.
• Exposure to test analytics or reporting dashboards.
• Strong experience in setting up GitHub Actions CI.
• Playwright experience.
• Minimal experience in maintaining Jenkins pipelines.
