Web Engineering Lead (React/Node.js)

What you will do

• Design the architecture and lead the technical roadmap for hirify.global’s public web properties.
• Manage a team of developers and conduct code reviews, maintaining high engineering standards.
• Develop high-quality, reusable, and accessible web components using React and modern frameworks.
• Integrate and maintain headless CMS platforms (Craft, Payload) and APIs.
• Build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring.
• Ensure performance, SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and security best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to deliver high-impact web experiences.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of full stack development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role managing mid to senior level engineers.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Expertise with React and frameworks such as Next.js or Remix.js.
• Experience with Craft CMS, Payload CMS, or other headless CMS solutions.
• Backend experience with Node.js and PHP.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Experience with Git, modern build tools (Webpack, Vite), and cross-functional collaboration.
