Senior Consulting Engineer (Data/Analytics)

Location: Remote (globally distributed), with responsibilities focused on the APJ region and up to 35% estimated onsite regional travel.

What you will do

• Serve as a team member on customer projects, focusing on design, architecture, integration, and implementation.
• Provide case-initiated consultative support to strategic users, customers, and prospects.
• Deliver architectural, technical, and migration assistance, including hands-on tasks.
• Work as a member of the Support Team, handling L1-L3 cases when not actively assigned to customer projects.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to contribute to the product roadmap.
• Develop a wide range of content including documentation, Knowledge Base articles, and reference architectures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Support, Technical Accounts Management, Engineering/SRE, and/or Project Management roles.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in implementing, operating, and/or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed database management systems (OLAP).
• Technical breadth and depth in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, System or Network Administration, and big data.
• Experience leading and shipping large scope technical projects in collaboration with multiple experienced engineers.
• Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offering.
