What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain core compute infrastructure using Kubernetes and EC2.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and automate configuration with Chef.
• Provide support and guidance to service owners on platform best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production environments and respond to incidents.
• Research and implement new technologies for multi-cloud environments, including GCP.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing production-grade infrastructure with Kubernetes and EC2.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency in configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Experience with package management, ideally with Aptly.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and security best practices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms beyond AWS, particularly GCP.
