Location: Beijing, Cn. Employees who live within a 25-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in non-U.S. locations are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

What you will do

• Design and implement highly scalable, low-latency, always-on services powering Bing search.
• Quickly understand and ramp up on diverse system components to deliver impactful features.
• Influence architectural and design decisions across multiple teams, driving best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams, demonstrating strong partnership skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years of related experience; OR Master’s Degree AND 3+ years; OR Doctorate AND 1+ year.
• 4+ years of programming experience in Python, C++, C#, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with data mining, machine learning, classification, or clustering.
• Ability to think creatively and deliver innovative solutions to complex problems.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in a related field AND 6+ years of experience; OR Doctorate AND 3+ years.
• 5+ years of programming experience in Python, C++, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience in search technologies, information retrieval, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Expertise in Deep Learning, especially Natural Language Processing (NLP).
