What you will do

• Develop new inference and training techniques to improve the performance of Large Language Models for Smart Home control and automation.
• Develop robust techniques for synthetic data generation for training large models.
• Maintain model generalization and improve overall model performance.
• Mentor junior scientists to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark.
