What you will do

• Monitor fraudulent activities and assess the effectiveness of existing controls, providing regular reports.
• Utilize data analytics to identify patterns, and timely and proactively escalate issues from fraud monitoring.
• Conduct investigations, collect evidence, and process decisions related to fraudulent activities.
• Observe customer transactions to identify risks such as account takeover and friendly fraud, cancelling fraudulent transactions.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert on fraud, collaborating with Compliance, Operations, and Finance to refine management procedures.
• Help design, document, and implement robust operational procedures within the Fraud team, and proactively challenge existing fraud decisioning models.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) in fraud risk, compliance, or related roles within the fintech or financial services industry.
• Experienced in identifying, assessing, and monitoring payments fraud risk.
• Strong understanding of digital fraud detection techniques and industry best practices.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions.
• Proficiency in English.
