What you will do

• Collaborate with senior Digital stakeholders to shape cloud platform strategy and roadmaps.
• Drive design and delivery of reusable cloud services and platform capabilities.
• Build and manage a high-performing management team, fostering collaboration.
• Improve developer experience and velocity using DORA metrics.
• Monitor platform performance, cost, and operational resilience.
• Deliver rapid, reliable build and release processes via Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE.
• Maintain robust compliance with security, regulatory, and governance standards.
• Evaluate and incorporate new AWS services to enhance platform value.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in cloud platform engineering and operations with deep understanding of cloud-native architectures.
• Strong technical expertise in AWS services and ability to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Proven leadership and people management skills to build and motivate high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and innovative cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and developing cloud platform engineering or architecture teams.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale cloud migrations and platform modernisation initiatives.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; cloud certifications are highly desirable.
