What you will do
- Identify and engage independent garages, repair centres, and business owners within the automotive aftermarket.
- Generate new opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting and cold calling to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Meet customers in person and remotely to understand their business needs and demonstrate GDS software and payment solutions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through to successful close.
- Build long-term relationships with new customers, identifying opportunities for upsells and cloud upgrades.
- Collaborate with marketing, onboarding, and support teams to ensure a smooth customer transition.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline data, and sales forecasts.
- Represent GDS at trade shows, industry events, and regional garage forums.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B sales or business development.
- Experience selling into the automotive aftermarket, SaaS, or payments is highly desirable.
- Comfortable with new logo acquisition and proactive outbound sales activity.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and working to defined targets.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, field-based role and manage time effectively.
