What you will do

• Drive improvements in location content quality by implementing changes to technology, processes, tools, and systems.
• Design and orchestrate workflows, ensuring smooth execution and proactively monitoring and resolving pipeline issues.
• Guarantee data quality through validation, testing, lineage tracking, and comprehensive documentation.
• Optimize performance and cost for data storage, queries, and pipelines.
• Develop monitoring tools and processes to track model performance, data accuracy, and system health.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer or similar role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD).
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, and optionally Java or Scala.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating data pipelines and distributed systems (Databricks or similar).
• Familiarity with orchestration and containerization tools: Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills in English and strong problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML/AI frameworks and deploying models in production.
• Familiarity with geospatial libraries and formats (Shapely, GeoPandas, GeoTIFF/COG).
• Knowledge of GIS tools for spatial data analysis.
