2D Character Artist (Gamedev)

TL;DR

2D Character Artist (Gamedev): Designing new characters, developing unique powers, and visualizing accompanying effects for the flagship web project Hero Wars: Dominion Era with an accent on character concepts and skill visualization. Focus on collaboration with game designers and animators, and reworking existing characters.

Location: In one of the company's offices in Cyprus, Armenia and Kazakhstan or remotely. Relocation package is available for joining in one of official locations.

What you will do

• Creating concepts for new characters and their effects.
• Producing skin sketches.
• Finalizing characters based on existing sketches.
• Reworking existing characters.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the games industry.
• Ability to create character concepts from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, form, and proportions.
• Proficiency in stylizing shapes and materials, with a solid grasp of color theory.
• Ability to design effect scenarios and visualize character skills.
• Understanding of character development workflows in games (particularly autobattlers), including collaboration with game designers and animators.

Nice to have

• Positive attitude toward neural networks and the ability to create concepts using them.
• Ability to sketch quickly and in a variety of styles.
• Experience in leadership roles or independent projects.
