Tools Developer (Fullstack)

TL;DR

hirify.global is a technology company looking for an Internal Tools Developer to join their Technology team.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain internal dashboard applications.
• Build integrations with REST APIs across various business products and services.
• Administer SQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Leverage message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Split time between long-term software development and day-to-day production support.
• Keep up to date with innovative technologies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD, release management, and DevOps practices (e.g., GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience working in a Linux environment with containerisation concepts.
• Familiarity with microservices and Agile methodology.
• Strong written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current and full work permit for the UK is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Salt).
• Experience in the VFX industry.
• Experience with deploying to Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with secrets management solutions (e.g., Hashicorp Vault).
